artstream offers classes in fine arts
artstream has been offering art classes in the greater Seacoast area for over 15 years. Each year we build our programs with high quality materials, the area’s finest instructors, inspiring classrooms flooded with natural light, and direct learning experiences from professional work in our gallery.
Our teaching methods are not only inspiring, but encouraging and nurturing to the artists which lie within.
Whether or not you have taken an art class before - you will find a welcoming and warm environment here at artstream.
Experience
We began teaching fine art to children as academyartworks. Since that time we have expanded our instruction to all fine arts media and to all ages.
Susan Schwake has been teaching in the Greater Seacoast area for over 20 years in her own school, in community settings and residencies in public/private schools. She has been a guest instructor in places such as Teahouse in Berkley, CA, The Eric Carle Museum, Plymouth State University and many libraries and children's museums in the North East. Her passion for teaching art in a nurturing, explorative manner has driven her work with all ages and abilities.
Susan's work also available in book form:
- Art Lab for Kids
- Art Lab for Little Kids
- 3-D Art Lab for Kids
- Art for All Seasons
- Art Camp
- Art Lab for Kids: Express Yourself
