profiles Mary-Jo Monusky Rainer Schwake Susan Schwake		susan schwake owner / artist / artistic director artstream studios Susan started academyartworks in Rochester, a small private after school art program ten years ago with ten students This has grown to classes most every day of the week and numerous workshops in all media throughout the year. She also offers a full summer program with camps and classes for all ages. Her partnering has been with non profits such as The Children’s Museum in Portsmouth, Community Campus, Garrison School in Dover, The Music Hall, Sacred Heart School in Hampton and the William Allen School in Rochester. She was the artistic director of the permanent children’s art exhibit in 1997, which was installed in the Sam and Anna Children’s Room at the Rochester Public Library. In 2003 she opened artstream with two partners in a restored100 year old building housing a full fine arts gallery promoting emerging and established artists, media/graphic design studio, and art academy in beautiful downtown Rochester right on the Cocheco river.
