Parent/child class - Focus: Clay play
Come with a child and create a set of tiles or small nesting bowls. Building by hand you and one child will each make your own work together. All materials included: $95 for two, additional child or parent $50. Ages 4 and up

Children’s Classes
Art for Littles • Ages 4-6
Come and play with us in our process-oriented, child-geared classes. We will explore artist’s work and many media including painting, printmaking, clay, collage and everyone’s favorite: drawing! Includes all materials.
Mondays 4-5 p.m. • Bella Bigos • $95 for five weeks
Clay Class for Kids • Ages 7-10
This clay class will focus on learning the basics of working with clay through positive, nurturing classes. Clay is a fun and physical medium so we will be enjoying making both functional (think cups and plates) as well as sculptural works. Class is limited to 8. Includes all materials and firings.

Art Class for Kids / All Media • Ages 7-10
Love to draw, paint, sculpt and make prints? This class is for you. Each week we will learn about an artist and their work while making something of our own in a variety of media. Positive, creative teaching methods focusing on process-oriented lessons. Each student will come away from this summer session with some positive art experiences and finished work. Small class size for plenty of personal attention. All materials included.

Drawing Class • Ages 7-10
Drawing is fun! Learn how to use a variety of techniques and tricks to make your drawings do what you wish to express. Age appropriate and process-oriented lessons focusing on skill building and experimenting will encourage and nurture the child artist. Emphasis on personal style and technique! All materials included.

Girl’s Craftastic Club • Ages 10-14
Come and make something special something fun with instructor Jill Tootell. A new craft each week in an all girl setting. Crafts range from working with fabric to mobile making and jewelry to clay work. Class is limited to 8. All materials included.

2D Art for Tweens and Teens • Ages 11-15
Drawing, painting, mixed media and more in the realm of 2D for teens. This class will teach skill-building and process-oriented methods for making cool art with modern materials. Each class will be building on the prior week’s skills for a finished product or two at the end of the session. Includes all materials.

Portfolio Building • Grades 9-12
Build or fill out a portfolio from this three-week course designed to enrich 2D skills with a focus on drawing, personal style and skill building. Guiding students through the critique/evaluation process in a nurturing and positive method, we will help students prepare for the college admissions process. Emphasis is on creating a college bound portfolio. This class will be held again in the fall.

Art CAMP for Kids
Exploring Art Camp • Ages 7-10
Each day at “camp” we will jump into a new media and explore it though the eyes of an artist either historical or contemporary. Using our gallery as inspiration we will create works each day in either clay, printmaking, painting, sculpture or drawing technique. Three teachers will guide the campers through segments throughout the day. Lunch will be held outdoors weather permitting. A great in-depth week of making art, exploring related artist’s work and digging deeper into creative expression. Art games throughout the week will be played as well! $245 includes all materials, please provide a lunch and snack. Bottled water will be provided.

Art Classes for Adults and older Teens (16+)
Adult Painting Class
Watercolor, oil and acrylic will be taught in this five-week class. Perfect for the beginner or seasoned artist as each person will work at their own pace with personal direction from the instructor. Try a new painting medium or finish those paintings you forgot about in the back of your closet. Everyone welcome and everyone will be challenged. Materials list provided at first class. Class limited to ten.

Adult Clay Class
Handbuilding with clay is taught with emphasis on quality construction, personal style and skill building. Small class size allows for personal attention. Wheel work introduced. Includes all clay, glaze, instruction and firing.

Mixed Media Class for Adults
Open up your artwork to the world of mixed media. Learn an encyclopedia’s worth of mixed media processes while enjoying this process-rich class. Each student will create a variety of works using a wide range of painting, collage, printmaking, and relief techniques. Includes some materials and a material list is provided at first class.

One-Day Workshops in July!
Friday Big Art Night! (for Adults / BYOB)
Want to get into some big art fun? Bring your friends and what you like to drink and get ready for some printmaking fun this July! Each Big Art Night we focus on a different media and explore it in a casual setting complete with appetizers (those are on us!) and a few sips (BYOB). July kicks off with PRINTMAKING. We will do a little silkscreening (bring a teeshirt if you want to print one) and a little monotype-ing, relief printing and more. Make cards, artwork to hang on your wall, even an edition of prints that you can give away or even sell. Everything included for this fun evening in the studio.
