Mini Art Camp I will provide an age appropriate sculpture experience in stoneware clay. Each student will experience two different types of sculptural vessels and learn about famous sculptors and potters, both contemporary and historical. All materials are included.

June 25-26 (Wed/Thu)

Mini Art Camp II will explore painting on canvas with acrylic paints. Age appropriate challenges and instruction through encouraging positive teaching methods. Incorporating art history through direct experiences in the gallery, special books and visual aids.Each student will create a painting in the two days with an emphasis on personal style.

 June 30 – July 3 (4 days Mon-Thu)

Drawing our story We will make our own book in four days, with a simple original story. Each student will learn more about basic drawing principals in an age appropriate manner. The last day of class we will bind our drawings into a handmade book with little to no words. Each student will be challenged and focus is on the creative process and the individuals style. Limited class size (10) to provide plenty of individual instruction. All materials included.

July 7 – July 11 (5 days Mon- Fri)

Clay Exploration We will create multiple stoneware clay objects using all three hand building techniques. Combining processes and making our own clay tools, each piece created will have our individual style embedded within it. Larger pieces will be encouraged through learning sculptural techniques. Each student will be challenged and focus is on the creative process and the individuals style. Limited class size (10) to provide plenty of individual instruction. All materials included.

 July 28 – July 31 (4 days Mon-Thu)

Painting our World  Using water based paints and direct observation, each student will create multiple paintings. Still life, portrait, abstract and landscape subject matter will be explored, out of doors (weather permitting) painting and acrylic painting on canvas too! Each student will be challenged and focus is on the creative process and the individual’s style. Limited class size (10) to provide plenty of individual instruction. All materials included.

A set of 5 week – once a week – classes for ages 6-9 and 10-14

Includes all supplies. Painting, clay, sculpture and drawing will be taught with each week building on the prior week’s lesson. Utilization of the gallery exhibition, art books and other materials will serve as a jumping off point for each lesson.

Limited class size (10) to provide plenty of individual instruction time.

Ages 6-9: Mondays 2-3 p.m.
Ages 10-14: Mondays 3-4 p.m.

June 30, July 7, 14, 21, 28 - $70

A set of 6 week – once a week – classes for older teens and adults

$75 materials supply list supplied. All levels of painting mixed for this summer adventure in painting. Both inside and on location (weather permitting) painting in oil, watercolor or acrylic. This class is limited to 12 and continues again with levels (beginning and advanced) in September.

One day workshops in clay with Megan Bogonovich. Megan’s work has been celebrated at our gallery, Art Miami and now is traveling throughout Europe and Dubai for exhibition. Each workshop will introduce new hand building techniques for both functional and nonfunctional works, vessels and glazing information. Book one or all and learn from the master! Each three hour session is $135 and includes all clay, tools, glaze and firing.
